Francesca Faridany, Michael Siberry & More Complete Cast of Man and Boy, Starring Frank Langella

Casting is complete for the upcoming Broadway revival of Terrence Rattigan’s Man and Boy starring the previously announced Frank Langella. The Roundabout Theatre Company production will begin previews at the American Airlines Theatre on September 9 and officially open October 9, directed by Maria Aitken.

In addition to three-time Tony winner Langella, the cast will feature Adam Driver as Basil Anthony, Francesca Faridany as Countess Antonescu, Zach Grenier as Mark Herries, Brian Hutchison as David Beeston, Virginia Kull as Carol Penn and Michael Siberry as Sven Johnson. In the play, which is being staged as part of a celebration honoring the 100th anniversary of Rattigan’s birth, Langella will star as Gregor Antonescu, a corrupt financier in the 1930s whose musician son rebels against his greedy ways by becoming a socialist. Man and Boy first opened on November 12, 1963, at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre starring Charles Boyer. The production ran for 54 performances.

Driver has been seen on Broadway in Mrs. Warren’s Profession, and off-Broadway in Angels in America, The Retributionists and The Forest. Faridany’s Broadway credits include The 39 Steps and The Homecoming, and she starred off-Broadway in Orlando. Grenier has appeared on Broadway in A Man For All Seasons and 33 Variations. Hutchison’s Broadway credits include Looped, Exit the King, Proof and The Invention of Love; Kull has appeared on Broadway in Dividing the Estate and Old Acquaintance and off-Broadway in The Orphans' Home Cycle. Siberry’s New York stage credits include Death Takes a Holiday, Mrs. Warren’s Profession, When the Rain Stops Falling, Spamalot and The Sound of Music.

The limited run of Man and Boy is set to end on November 27.
